My Odyssey has had issues with holding a charge. At first they tested the alternator and said it was fine. after speaking with Honda National service they did a test drive and found that the alternator was failing and then shooting out a charge and then failing again. They told us it is the alternator but are quoting us over 650 for the replacement. that seems pretty steep to me. I understand it's the dealer, but is that right?
My car has 94000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
If the price quote they offered is for parts and labor, then the quote they gave you (for a dealership) is about right. However, there are more affordable ways to have your alternator replaced; including having one of our professional mobile mechanics come to your home to complete the alternator replacement.
Our certified mechanics come to you ・Backed by 12-month, 12,000-mile guarantee・Fair and transparent pricing
