Q: AIR CONDITIONING ONLY WORKS ON 60 DEGREES

asked by on

AS ABOVE

My car has 98000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

This is most likely a temperature control relay issue. There is a relay in your car’s AC system that operates the control of the AC based upon the inputs directed to it relative the desired level of temperature. When this is faulty, it can signal the incorrect temperature to be supplied or nothing at all (as in your case). I would suggest having an expert from YourMechanic come to your home to diagnose and repair.
