Tyrone was a true professional. Not only did he take the time to educate me on the work he would be doing and why, but also he took the time to guide me through the completed work and show me the old (and damaged) parts after the job was done. Tyrone's initial recommendations (this was a return visit) were spot on, and he saved me a tremendous amount of money versus what a dealership had quoted me.

Tyrone showed up early, and he was incredibly honest with me throughout the appointment. I shared with him the diagnosis provided to me by the local Hyundai dealer, and he walked me through why he disagreed with the dealer's overall assessment. Tyrone explained things in layman's terms and his logic was very easy to follow. Moreover, he didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs/services. I wish all mechanics were as easy to deal with as Tyrone.

Lucas was awesome! Arrived on time, had my part, along with all his tools ready to go! He diagnosed the issue, then jacked my car up and got to work. Fixed my problem, then did a check around my car for other possible issues. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. If I had a company, I would want Lucas on my team. Good job YourMechanic! Thanks Lucas!

Answers to common Hyundai questions

Q: Blown engine, is the repair cost worth it?
Answered by Jay
My first question to you would be to ask you why the engine is being replaced. Did you already have the problem diagnosed and were told you need an new engine? I would need more information to properly diagnose your...
Q: Have to replace my brakes really frequently
Answered by Jay
The rear brake pads should last you over 30,000 miles if everything is working normally. In your case the rear pads are not lasting more than 10,000 miles, this is an indication of a problem in your brake system. If...
Q: Car is shutting off while driving
Answered by Jay
The first thing to do is to have the fuel cap replaced (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-fuel-filler-cap). The cap may be overtightened, causing gas tank venting to be blocked. If this gets blocked then the fuel tank can go into a vacuum and cause...
Q: Worried about a noise in the engine
Answered by Michael
Having an engine noise can be annoying and damaging over time. Did the noises start after having the oil and filter changed? I ask because there are some aftermarket oil filters which will cause pressure variations in the engine, creating...
