Cesar was very knowledgable in helping diagnose my problem with my WRX not starting. He first suggested to change the spark plugs because there was too much fuel in the spark plugs when checked. Since I knew that had not been done in a while, I agreed. After the change, my car was good as new. Two days later my car stopped starting again. Cesar came out again and found out that it was my fuel pump. He did a great job and let me know what else I should watch out for next. YourMechanic is way better than bringing your car into a car repair shop and way more convenient. You don’t have to tow your broken down car to a place then trying to figure out a way home. My girlfriend and I will never use any other service. Thank you again for all the work you have done. And I hope I don’t see you soon or if I do I will be quick to schedule with you.

Cesar was great, very punctual, professional and really friendly. I scheduled him to check out a possible coolant leak, which he did. He also quoted me on some other services that my Subaru really needed. I wouldn't hesitate to book Cesar again and would definitely recommend him to anyone else.

Had a great experience working with Charles today on a pre-purchase inspection on a car I was looking at buying. He arrived early, explained things clearly, and was kind, professional, and helpful. Would 10/10 reach out to him in the future if needed.

Charles was on time, and very patient when there a snafu with working in my apartment building parking garage - he got right to work, showed me the parts he took off my car, and did all four requested repairs in 2 1/2 hours (replace brake pads and rotors, replace windshield wipers, replace headlight bulb, change the oil). It was awesome.

Ramiro was very professional and took the time to explain details on what he was doing during the thermostat replacement. I was even impressed on his cleanup of the antifreeze runoff. After he left you couldn't tell there was a runoff. I wouldn't hesitate to have him work on my Subaru again. Thanks, Randy C.

Hello! Thank you for writing in with this question. Timing belt replacement is generally recommended by Subaru at 105,000 miles, or 105 months. Other manufacturers recommend replacing them between 60,000-90,000 miles. It is very possible that there were contributing factors...
Driver seat broke and basically collapsed

Greetings! Thank you for writing in about this problem. The welds on the seat brackets may have broken. This seems to be a common problem in this generation of Forester. A professional mechanic from YourMechanic can diagnose what failed (https://www.yourmechanic.com/book/?mktg_jid=391)...
Lots of noise on startup, car isn’t a morning person
