Michael was awesome. He let me watch and explained what was going on. Fixed a leak in the transmission line and the car ran perfectly instead of slipping in and out of gear. I was also low on ATF fluid because of the leak so we put that in. He also tightened up the belt which was making my stearing wheel squeak. And he also helped me change my wiper blades lol There were 7 transmission codes when he first plugged the computer in. When he was done, all the codes went away! There is one more part needed so we made a separate appointment for tomorrow. I thought I was going to lose my car, but as it turns out, my car is fine! It's amazing what a leak and lack of fluid does to the functioning of your transmission. So many people (non mechanics) thought my transmission was bad and I probably would need a new one. Nope! Just fix the leak and get the fluid in there Yay!

Scott did a great job and knew exactly what he was doing to replace my 2005 Highlander alternator. There were only a couple of glitches...one is that he was very, very late due to car trouble (even for a mechanic!) and he was supplied with two alternators for the job. The one being replaced didn't have the information needed directly so we had to do some research to come up with the correct part to use (this car model has two possibilities for engines and we had to do some research to determine the correct replacement to use). I am happy with the job that Scott did and very happy with the convenience of the service. Didn't compare price with other independents but know that it was less than dealer and felt it very fair for the service rendered. As for his tardiness, he did call and keep me informed. I had no other commitments, so it was OK.
