Q: Q: Wheel bearing replacement

asked by on

Hi - On BMW x3 does the front wheel bearing have to be replaced with the hub assembly, or is it possible to replace the bearing only? Thank you

My car has 80000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The front wheel bearings would need to be replaced with the front hub assembly unless you have the very specialized puller and press tools to remove and install the bearings. It is recommended to replace hub and bearing as an assembly.
