Q: what is the oil pan made out of

asked by on

were trying to keep it warm cause super cold and it sometimes die cause it is not warm enough so i have to go out and start it again

My car has 152356 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Depending on the engine you have and the Lincoln vehicle you have the oil pan is made from stamped steel or cast aluminum. If you need to keep engine from freezing then have a engine block heater installed to be plugged in at night to keep engine warm.
