what does check parking assists means when i put it in reverse

My car has 119673 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

In most cases this means the sensors need to be cleaned. Have all the rear bumper and front bumper sensors cleaned and then try system again. If problem persists then have a mechanic like one from YourMechanic test the park assist for codes to see if one or more of the sensors have failed.
