Q: Sometimes when driving a wrench light comes on and my car is hard to shift

Once a week this issue will occur, I will be driving all of a sudden a wrench light comes on and starts hard shifting once I turn off the car then turn it on its fine so I'm wondering if it's a sensor problem.

My car has 123000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
