Q: Sitting at a light this morning my car began to sputter and the CEL began to flash. Before the light turned green, it all stopped

asked by on March 10, 2018

After exiting the highway, I came to a red light and stopped. After a few seconds my car sputtered like it was going to stall and the CEL began to flash. I put it in park and tapped the gas, but it was still sputtering. I put it back in drive and before the light turned green it stopped. No more sputtering, no more flashing CEL. What could this be and what should I do? I drove it home with no problem and had the codes checked but no codes showed as stored.

My car has 60000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
