Q: Question about motor mounts 2009 Ford Fusion

asked by on October 12, 2017

Ok so at idle In gear (Drive, reverse or ‘low’) the car vibrates really bad and much worse with the compressor on the car also has a harsh shifting characteristic that’s intermittent if I baby the throttle and it shifts at low RPMS it’s not there if I floor it and shift around 3500-4000 it’s not there but anything inbetween is harsh the fluid and filte have been changed (fluid 3 times with OEM ford fluid) and there are no codes. A local well reviewed transmission shop said that they did NOT feel it was transmission related. My hydraulic mount on the passenger side (right next to the belts) is leaking fluid slowly and partially collapsed. I know it’s bad and I’ll replace it but would these symptoms be related to that? Thanks.

My car has 61300 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Wideband question
As for the performance of the vehicle, the engine will likely run just fine with minimal differences. I would recommend looking...

My heater only blows out hot air when going down the road and rpms reach about 2 if or when i slow down or stop it blows cold
This can sometimes happen when the coolant level is low or leaking. The coolant gets hotter as the RPMs rise. This can cause hot coolant to reach the heater core during high RPMs but not low RPMs. I recommend having...
