Q: Oil is leaking onto the spark plugs

asked by on October 31, 2016

Hi, I have a 2009 chevrolet traverse leaking oil from spark plug tubs. I thought that was the upper seals and I replaced them. When I removed valve cover I noticed that the oil leak was coming from where the tub connect with cylinder head in the lower part. I'm wondering if those tubs can be removed and resealable. please let me know. Any advice will be appreciated.

Why when i go to crank up my car i have to press the gas
If you have to hold the gas open to start then you may have a throttle body (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/throttle-body-replacement) and idle air control valve (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/idle-control-valve-replacement) that has carbon deposits that need to be cleaned. The intake valves may also have carbon...

Battery light turned on, car started running weirdly and it essentially died. Was able to jumpstart briefly, but it died again

Hello . When passenger airbag sign is off , does it mean that all the airbags are off or only the passengers airbags ? Thank you
If there are no warning lights on when the engine is running, all of the airbags are active. That is the default mode. About twelve years ago the DMV required that the driver be given control of whether the passenger...
