Q: No oil pressure.

asked by on

I have no oil pressure. What could be the problem?

If your oil level is where it needs to be, there is proper oil filter installed, and there are no leaks, this would indicate a bad oil pump or possibly bad crankshaft main bearings. If the engine runs without knocking, smoking or other issues you could have good oil pressure but a faulty gauge. A trained technician like one from YourMechanic could easily diagnose this issue.
