Q: My Volvo will not go in reverse after driving it home

I was driving home I made a right turn my car started to jerk a little it so I slowed down put it in park when I put it back in Drive it was moving very slow I tried to put it in reverse and it would just sit there I'm wondering if my transmission is completely gone

My car has 117000 miles.
