Start truck it makes noise and smell metal and smokes

My car has 97966 miles.

You will need to give a better description of where the metal noise and smoke is coming from to help you better. You should have the belts, oil and coolant checked to see if you see any problems there. If you cannot isolate cause then I suggest you have mechanic like one from YourMechanic come to you and check and verify the problem so the cause can be found.
