The front headlight was out I replaced the bulb it still isn't working

My car has 78000 miles.

Hi Michele. Thanks for contacting us tonight. There are a few possible reasons that your headlight is not working after replacing the bulb. In most cases, it’s because the electrical harness is either loose or damaged. It could also be due to an exposed electrical wire - or in some cases, the bulb you purchased may be faulty. I would double check the connection to the light bulb first. If the light bulb still doesn’t work, you can remove the bulb from the other side and install to test whether the issue is the bulb or the housing. If this doesn’t work, or you can’t figure out how to resolve this on your own, please have a professional mechanic come to your location and complete a headlight inspection.
