I want to buy a car, this guy has a 2001 camero RS SS is 1 roller. I asked him what that means and he said that it needs a engine and transmission. Then he said all I would need is The drivetrain because they are one in the same. What is he talking about? He said for me to just buy the drivetrain and I would be good! I don’t know if that’s true or not. He was asking $1,600 and then he dropped it to $900 so I could get a drivetrain. Is that going to fix the car? I can’t put a ton of money in a car all I have to spend is $2,300. So will you please tell me if he is right. I thought if you need an engine then you need an engine and same with a transmission.
My car has an automatic transmission.
