Q: How much for transmission

asked by on

Need new transmission I think has reverse only sometimes and won't shift when it does its really load
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello, thanks for writing in about your Mazda 6. If you are looking for a total cost to rebuild the whole transmission it can come out to be close to $2000. This will depend on your local labor rates. It may be less or more depending on it. It may be cheaper to just replace it with a known good used transmission if you’re able to find one. Best of luck.
