How do I reset the maintenance reminder?

Regular maintenance is vital for ensuring that your car lasts as long as possible and that it performs correctly. You should have your tires rotated regularly, your oil changed on time, the transmission serviced when necessary and more. A handy reminder system is built into the vehicle, but you’ll need to reset it after each maintenance service (it tracks maintenance needs based on mileage). Here’s how to reset it:

  1. Make sure that trip meter A is showing

  2. Turn the ignition off

  3. Hold the trip meter reset button

  4. Turn the ignition to on

  5. Watch for the meter to display a series of 0’s

Tips

  • This will reset all maintenance data.

  • Make sure this information is reset after each service.
