I have an exhaust smell in the cabin. I think it might be coming from the doughnut gasket, but I am not exactly sure. How do I find out what the problem is and have it fixed?

I would suggest you get some help from a mechanic to inspect where your exhaust is leaking from and fix it. There are several different gaskets and connections where there could be a leak. A qualified mechanic should be able to quickly find the problem.
