Q: cross member repair ect.

asked by on

I have a 1993 holden rodeo LX. The crossmember mount has recently snapped (part that connects to the chassis) and i have taken it off to either rapair of just leave it off. My question is, how important is it? how could i fix i?

My car has 100000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

Hello. It is important to have this repaired as soon as possible. Though it does not affect much in your day to day driving, it does affect the structural integrity of the vehicle should you get into a car accident. I would get this taken care of as soon as possible.
