Q: Car loud during acceleration
The is loud when I accelerate.
If the engine is making a lot of noise when you accelerate then that can be a sign of engine failure or something that is loose. A description of the noise would help. If it is a banging then it may be an engine mount. If it is a loud rattling then it may be the catalytic converter or a loose heat shield. If it is a whining then you may have an issue in the transmission. I would typically put the car in the air and run it to locate approximately where the noise is coming from. This will give me a place to start.
