Q: Bad mileage on 2012 mazda 2
I just bought a 2012 mazda 2 and it should be getting 28-34mpg but it's getting 15ish mpg. There is no check engine light and the car drives smoothly and nothing seems wrong. Any advice is appreciated.

In order to check the fuel mileage you should drive as if you are trying to save every drop of fuel. The mileage rating is based on not running the a/c and driving mostly highway miles to get the mileage you say it should get. You should check the air filter and have the mass air flow sensor cleaned. This should improve the mileage for the better.
