Q: ABS light coming on

asked by on January 26, 2016

The ABS light is coming on. I just had new brakes put on the truck and the brake fluid levels are fine. I suspect it is an ABS/Speed sensor.

It is very possible that you may have a wheel speed sensor that is going bad. That is the most common problem to turn the ABS light on. There could also be some damaged wiring but it also may be a bad ABS control module as well. I would ask for help from one of the mechanics at YourMechanic to come and diagnose what is causing your ABS light to come on.
