asked by on January 04, 2018

While driving my car jerks and the brakes grind, while it's doing that the brake light, car swerving light as well as the abs light is on at the same time. My car has been to Nissan and they don't know what's wrong. They've installed a brand new engine, and did a brake job. Still nothing.

My car has 58000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

It is possible that you could be having an issue with your wheel bearings. I would recommend having your wheel bearings inspected by a qualified professional to determine if they are functioning properly. Oftentimes when wheel bearings have failed you can hear a growling or grinding sound while the vehicle is rolling and may or may not get worse during breaking. Consider YourMechanic as wheel bearings can be inspected at your home or office.
