Check Engine Light is on Inspection $94.99 - $114.99 Get a Quote

Hi there - the P2015/P2020 codes indicate a problem with the intake runner position sensor. This component keeps track of the intake runner flap position, as opposed to regulating whether it is open or closed. I recommend a Check Engine inspection performed by a mobile, professional mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, who will come to your location, to confirm this diagnosis, and give you an accurate assessment of damage and cost estimate for repairs.

location of knock sensors
The knock sensors are on opposite sides of the engine. Bank 1 is just above the oil drain plug, on the engine block, at the front of the engine. Bank 2 is on the back side of the engine, in...
What can make loud whining/whistling noise and hesitation when accelerating to higher speeds?
I would recommend checking the timing belt (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/timing-belt-replacement) tension. Also, check other pulleys, tensioners (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/drive-belt-tensioner-replacement), etc. If everything seems to be tight as necessary, try some belt dressing on these belts. I'd suggest having a certified mechanic, such as one...
The car has no power, the ignition relay keeps making a clicking noise, and the car won't start
I suspect you have a dead (or very low) battery, a failed alternator, and an electrical circuitry problem as well. It may be hard to tell which came first if there is wiring damage already. The clicking you hear is...
My car has a duel fuel system and it sometimes runs rough
This is a common problem with duel fuel conversions. When you start the car, be sure it warms up on gasoline/petrol. Oftentimes, what happens is the LPG fuel conversion kicks in later while still running on petrol/gasoline, essentially fueling the...
My Check Engine Light is on - code P0430
Hi there. If you are getting this code (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/p0430-obd-ii-trouble-code-catalyst-system-efficiency-below-threshold-bank-2-by-spencer-clayton) along with a loss of power, it usually means that the catalytic converter is failing. When it fails internally it begins to clog the exhaust which will cause the lack of...
Transmission or axle problem?
Hi there. Unfortunately, that sound you heard was most likely an internal component that has failed/broken. That doesn't mean that an axle failure couldn't be the source, either. This definitely needs to have an inspection to determine what has failed...
2002 PT Cruiser overheating and rattling noise
Hi there. The best advice I can offer is to have a professional mobile mechanic come to your location and complete a car is overheating inspection (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-overheating-inspection). My fear however, is that the frequent overheating may have caused internal engine...
Car jerks and rattles when accelerating until 30 mph
What you are describing may be a result of a faulty speed sensor, potentially low transmission fluid (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/transmission-fluid-service) or a even a faulty transmission control solenoid. As your vehicle travels down the road, the computer analyzes data being sent by...
o2 sensor
If you are referring to 1991 model years of the Accord versus the Civic, the principal difference is the Accord used a heated oxygen sensor while the Civic did not. To compare and contrast Toyota sensors, I would need a...
