Collins did a great job with my pre-purchase inspection. Chriss showed up in a timely manner, called as well as texted that he was on his way. The polite young man was very manerable and professional after introduction. Explained clearly that he was here to do a diagnostic evaluation on the vehicle and would get back to me when this was done. He went right to work on getting to the issue of the vehicle. He got back to me on what the issue was and explained what was needed and the cost to fix it, which included part and labor. He seemed very knowledgeable about the vehicle and in answering my questions and making sure I understood. He was very efficient in handling is job. I immediately booked an appointment to get the vehicle fixed.

Although Jacob was personable, the recommendations I later received in an email from Your Mechanic were never discussed with me, nor did it appear as though he'd actually checked the vehicle for them. Specifically, the message stated that my transmission fluid was orange, but he never checked that. In regard to using Your Mechanic in general: While I would certainly use them again for major repairs, I will never again ask them to replace a battery. The labor cost was $73 and the job took approximately 15 minutes (I'll do it myself next time), though I suppose I was charged for the travel time.
