Joshua is awesome! He is super knowledgeable (education-wise and experience-wise), has modern equipment, he is an effective communicator, and he loves what he does (it shows in his work and in his attitude). I would highly recommend him to anyone and I will continue to use him myself. I have a 2000 Volvo with almost 200,000 miles on it. It's a great car, but does need occasional work and it is hard to find any mechanic who has experience on Volvos, let alone a good one.

Gary was very prompt, he was at my house at exactly 9AM, he was very courteous. I had my own brake parts, he didnt have to remove the paint on the rotors, but he took time to removed it. I would recommend yourmechanic.com to friends and relatives, along with Gary.

Answers to common Volvo questions

Q: Heater hose leak
Answered by Jay
I recommend that you have a mechanic, like one from YourMechanic, check your vehicle out for you. The mechanic can pressure test the cooling system, and replace any leaking hoses (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/coolant-is-leaking-inspection).
Q: Car sluggish and wants to stall in 2nd gear.
Answered by Robert
Hi there. From your explanation of the problem it sounds like you are experiencing the onset of a transmission failure. A mechanic would drain the fluid from the transmission and inspect it for metal or debris in the fluid which...
Q: Car tries to turnover but won't start
Answered by Eduardo
Hi there. If your car is not turning over, despite a new battery and a jump, then it is probably not a battery problem. It may be possible that there may be a problem with the vehicle's starter, or starting...
Q: Plug from camshaft position sensor corroded.
Answered by Jay
Even though you can get the car to start and run by sticking the wires into the connector, it will not keep out moisture and it could corrode even more. I would recommend having a mechanic inspect the sensor and...
