All of the training courses that Infiniti requires can be found online and completed in 4 to 6 hours. Levels of achievement

KEI offers five levels of technician achievement. They are:

  • Trainee (this includes taking your technician orientation program certification)

  • Technician (this is awarded to you after taking any instructor-led course)

  • Specialist (you receive this title after completing any one specialty area (excluding DFRT and Hybrid)

  • Senior Specialist (this you will receive after completing any two specialty areas (excluding DFRT and Hybrid)

  • Master Technician (this is awarded to those who complete all four specialty areas (plus new model training excluding DFRT & Hybrid)

Web-based courses

In addition to instructor-led courses, Infinity offers many web-based courses. They are:

  • Introduction to engine mechanical service
  • Introduction to engine control systems
  • SIR Vol. 162 — CONSULT-III plus
  • Introduction to emission control systems
  • Introduction to OBD II Systems
