What mean my Honda oddessy say check fuel cap
My car's transmission is unknown to me.

The computer has detected the fuel cap is loose or you have a leak in the evaporative gas tank vapor control system. If gas cap is tight and not off or loose then you will need to have the system checked to see what is leaking fumes. This may entail a computer test and a smoke pressure test of the system to locate the failure.
