What is the SOS Post-Crash Alert System®?

Accidents can be devastating, and they can leave your car stranded in the middle of the road or on the side of the road. The SOS Post-Crash Alert System® was designed to help draw attention to a vehicle disabled in an accident. Here’s how the system works:
- The lights will flash.
- The horn will sound repeatedly.
You can turn the system off by:
- Pressing the Hazard button
- Pressing the Panic button on the remote
Tips
- Unless you turn it off, the system will continue to operate until it drains the battery.
- The system will only activate if one or more air bags are deployed.
