Q: Short in car's wiring.

asked by on

I think I might have a short in my car's wiring. It only starts when the wires are a certain way, otherwise it stalls.

It sounds like a wiring issue if you have to position them a certain way. It could be a short to ground, short to positive, or shorted circuit. Electrical issues are difficult to pinpoint, I suggest having a qualified technician take a look at this starting problem and see if repairs can be made to the harness or if the harness needs replaced.
