Q: Radio does not work except for satellite radio

asked by on

After driving for about 10 minutes, my AM/FM radio goes out. I’ve changed channels and can get the satellite stations to work, but none others. What will fix this?

Sounds like the radio head unit is faulty. There are no serviceable parts, so replacement is the only option. You may want to enlist the help of a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, to access the radio and pull it out to get the part number in order to get the proper replacement.
