Q: Opinion about Opels

asked by on

What do you think about Opels?

Believe it or not, the first car I’ve ever owned was an Opel. I paid 550 bucks and really drove it a lot from high school until I went to graduate school. It was fun, but I only paid 550 for it. Now, they don’t sell Opels in the United States anymore. They haven’t for years. Realize that Opel is one of the early German car manufacturers. I mean, they’ve been around for a long time. I know they sell them all over Europe, but here in the United States, it is hard to get parts for them. Even when I had one, it was almost impossible to get parts for it. In Europe, I’m sure it is easier to get parts for it, so it wouldn’t be too bad.

Fun to drive, not to fix. I'm assuming you are in Europe because they don't have those things here in the United States. In Europe, it is easy to get parts for them. But here in the United States, Fiat's...
