Hello. The P0014 code and hard up shifting condition is a common problem on this engine.

Typically, it is either the solenoid, or the connection on the solenoid. If both of those have been replaced, then the exhaust cam actuator is failing. When these fail, they get stuck in the wrong position and this occurs. It will have to be replaced.

Screeching noise when turning key
This noise may be the starter internal gear reduction making the noise. The starter would need to be replaced to get rid of the noise. The battery should also be checked. I recommend having a mechanic, like the ones from...
Car ran fine. I parked it and this morning it has a misfire in cylinders 1,3,4.
This is a common question. We often want to assign an event like parking our car or filling our fuel tank to a specific failure. More often times than not, this is just a coincidence. My response to such a...
I replaced all pads and rotors. There is pulsating /grinding noise when I brake. Is it a reluctor ring or sensor?
Pull the fuse for the ABS system (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/abs-light-is-on-inspection) to disable it and then test drive the car (don't forget to re-install the fuse later). If the pulsating/grinding noise remains that means the ABS system has nothing to do with your...

what sends signal to a TPS sensor
Hello, thank you for writing in. The throttle position sensor does not take inputs from anything, but instead it acts as an input to the ECU (the main computer). The ECU then uses it for engine performance. The sensor's resistance...
Was driving my h2 at 48 miles per hour when the gear got knocked into reverse by accident and now my H2 will not go in reverse
Hi there. Thanks for contacting us today. If you shifted into reverse while the vehicle was in forwarding motion, it's likely that shift linkage or the reverse gear itself has been damaged. Honestly, without completing an inspection (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-is-hard-to-shift-inspection), it's hard...
