My infiniti 2011 g25x push button start is locked out. no signal from intelligence-key. new battery in car and key fob. Mechanic's Assistant: Have you double-checked to make sure the positive and negative signs are lined up correctly? The Vitelli-key work on the doors but not with trying to start car. wheels are locked. Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your G25x yourself? What have you tried so far? Disconnect neg terminal on car battery in hopes to reset intelligence-key- no luck. also tried my spare intelligence-key, again no luck. thinking there might be a Intelligent-key deactivation switch somewhere? Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? Everything is locked - steering wheel and shifter - not getting any signal to pushbutton start

Okay if you have a good car battery and both fobs are not working you could have a signal issue from the BCM controller or your antenna . I would need to use a scan tool and check the codes to know for sure . It should set a code in the BCM controller and let you know did you try and use the key fob in the slot on the dash

I discovered that pushing the start button with the intelli-key allowed the car to start. I found it in a u-tube post. Good information if you should get another question about intelli-key not working.

Most of the time that works when you have a signal issue from the Fobs or battery in the fob you said both fobs don’t work correct?If starting that way you still have a signal issueOils be a antenna or fob signalThanks again!
