Q: My car is overheating when the heater is turned on

Hi a few days ago my car began to make a noise have a weird smell and started to overheat than i noticed it was smoking n leaking fluid so i bought a new radiator but the car is still overheating when the heater is on and shut off on me today but started back up after it cooled down so wat do i do now
