Q: My brakes are messed up

asked by on August 26, 2017

My brakes hiss when I press down on them, the car starts to rumble when it comes to a complete stop, and when the car is in motion I hear a repetitive squeak. This all happens on the right side of the car

My car has 174000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

The noise is coming from your brake booster has a vacuum leak and will need to be replaced. This is why your engine runs rough when you press the brakes.
