Q: Is thermostat replacement necessary?
Hello
I just got my radiator replaced today as it had begun to leak. The mechanic also replaced the 2 hose pipes as preventive measure. He suggested to get the thermostat replaced as well.
I just got the thermostat replaced in my car about 1.5 years ago through yourmechanic. How essential would it be therefore to again get a new thermostat? From the temperature indicator in the dashboard, the meter shows up just a touch below the middle of "C" and "H".
