How do I use the glove box?

The glove box provides you with handy storage for a number of different items. It’s a convenient location for storing your owner’s manual, insurance information and more, but it can hold much more, as well. It’s also lockable. Here’s how to use it:

  1. Use the master key or mechanical key insert (smart key system) to unlock the glove box.

  2. Pull the handle out.

  3. Lower the glove box.

  4. Add or remove your items.

  5. Close the glove box. Make sure it latches securely.

  6. Use the key to lock it again.

Tip

Always keep the glove box closed when the vehicle is in motion. It can injure the front passenger in an accident of open.
