Your remote keyless entry system comes automatically set on hazard indicator and horn mode. During this mode, the hazards lights will flash twice, and the horn will sound once when you lock the doors with the key fob. The hazards will flash once when you unlock the doors with the key fob. If you want, you can switch to hazard indicator mode. During this mode, the hazard lights will flash twice when you lock the doors, and no times when you unlock the doors. The horn will not sound. To set hazard indicator mode, simultaneously press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob. After at least two seconds, the hazard lights will flash three times to confirm that hazard indicator mode has been set. To return to the original setting, repeat this process; this time, the hazards will flash once, and the horn will sound to confirm that the hazard indicator and horn mode has been set.
