My Honda Accord 06 has codes P0135 P0325 & P0456 but Im extremely poor, I only work with postmates Mechanic's Assistant: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it? Yes ive tried to reset it. Even unhooked the battery but these lights wont go away Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Accord yourself? What have you tried so far? Im not a mechanic I thought I replaced the oxygen sensor last year but the code wouldnt go away Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? Um, aside from me being an unemployed postmates driver & having an 06 honda accord, i dont think

Hi! This is Anthony, a Honda master technician here on Just Answer. Sorry to see you're having trouble with your Accord. With whom do I have the pleasure of chatting with today?

Im Evan Gragg, a poor guy from Manvel Tx. I wanted to update my inspection but these codes popped up & my mechanic lights have been on for over a year & wont go awaycode p0135 OT sensor 11 heater circuit p0325 knock sensor 1 b1 circuit
Automotive Expert
Hi Evan! Please give me a few minutes to look into these codes for you.

38; p0456 evaporative emmission system leak detected
Automotive Expert
Ok automatic or manual and 4 or 6 cylinder?

dont know but I think 4 cylinder
Automotive Expert
The light won't go off until you clear the codes. Are you looking for the troubleshooting steps?

Well I want a way to fix the problems without losing every dollar to my name
Automotive Expert
When you replaced oxygen sensor, did you use aftermarket? You have to use OEM or it won't clear the code.

no I dont know what that is I bought the sensor on ebay & my brother installed it
Automotive Expert
Ok, it needs to be a Honda sensor, not a cheap aftermarket sensor.

ok, will it cost an arm to get that?
Automotive Expert
Unfortunately, it is about $600-700 because it is the air fuel one but it is the only way to clear the code. I work at a Honda dealership and have seen so many people use aftermarket and it doesn't work.

dammit I should just kill myself. I'll never be able to fix this problem
Automotive Expert
I'm sorry, you have 3 separate issues here. The sensor will correct the one code and that's the most important one.

how the hell will I ever afford this in my lifetime?
Automotive Expert
I'm very sorry, I know it is so expensive. There are so many people in similar situations with expensive repairs that they can't afford.

then theres nothing I can doreally? most people are filthy richthese places charge as if we all own big companies
Automotive Expert
If there was a way to clear the codes, I would let you know. At my dealership, I see it all the time. Repairs are expensive and they aren't getting any cheaper.

I just gotta keep driving around with this, & drive with the expired sticker until the end of my days
Automotive Expert
Unless you are able to fix the codes by buying the parts there is no way to clear them. I'm very sorry. I have a Honda scan tool and can't even clear them.

should I just bite the bullet then?
Automotive Expert
I can only tell you what is wrong with the vehicle and how to fix it.

this has ruined my day. I will never be able to afford these repairs, not in a thousand lifetimes
Automotive Expert
Again, I'm very sorry.
