Q: Q: Gas smell from car

asked by on

I detect a gas smell coming from my car. I think the fuel filler neck or fuel pump needs to be replaced.

Hello, being that you are smelling fuel, this needs to diagnosed and repaired sooner than later, in case its a fuel leak. A fuel leak at the engine can potentially cause a fire. You will need the aid of a mechanic to find the source of the leak and make a recommendation for repair.
