Q: Eps light

asked by on

Eps lighting during driving my car

My car has 65000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello, thank you for writing in. The vehicle is illuminating the Electronic Power Steering warning light. This light may stand for several different malfunctions. The first thing that needs to be done is a scan of the vehicle’s diagnostic troubleshooting codes. This can be done by a technician or at most automotive parts stores. With the information gathered with the scan, you can turn your attention to whatever component seems to be having the issue. The electronic motor, the rack, the module, or any of the connections may be having a problem. Only further testing will tell. For more help diagnosing the issue, contact our service department to schedule an appointment.
