I just bought this vehicle as a used, certified vehicle. Dealership 'forgot' to do the inspection prior to my purchase. The vehicle has a vibration in the seat and steering wheel that seems worse when pressing the accelerator. The steering seems to wander on its own at highway speeds. The intense vibration lessens at higher speeds (above 70 mph). You can literally feel/hear the vehicle rumble at low speeds on a smooth road. It has new tires - the original tires were worn on the inside edges and the original rear tires were also scalloped. The transfer case had a leak that's been repaired. The upper ball joint boots in the front right and left are caked with black grease, sand, dirt. You can squeeze the boot and more thick, black grease comes out of the bottom of the boot. The dealership says that's normal. I've never had a vehicle that drove so poorly and I've also never seen any car with leaking upper ball joints. Could the vibrations be caused by the ball joints?
