Q: Coolant, cap, hoses replaced. When temp reach middle AC don't work properly then temp goes down.

asked by on

Car had gasket head skim 2yrs ago and everything replaced. Recent overheat issues. Had coolant, cap and hoses replaced. They even unblock 2 hoses. Now when car temp goes to middle the AC will stop working properly (less air and not cold). Car temp will go down. So it doesn't really overheats. What is causing this issue? Air-con diverting to cool radiator?

Hi Thomas. Thanks for contacting us today. Unfortunately, without knowing what year, make and model of vehicle you have, it’s hard for us to tell you what could possibly be causing your overheating issues. Each car had different components that operate the engine and transmission cooling system. If you could let us know more about your car, that would be very helpful. Thanks.
