Q: Check brake lights warning flahses, cruise control shuts off

asked by on

Lately, the dash in my car has been showing the check brake lights warning flashing. The brake lights are working correctly. There is a problem with the cruise control feature, which shuts off out of the blue. Is this some electrical issue with the car? What should I do?

Check the brake light switch or substitute a known good switch and see if symptom recurs.
