Q: Engine will not start.

asked by on

The engine in my car will not start. The horn is still loud, so I don't think it is the battery. The engine attempts to turn over, but it is weak.

Just because the horn still works doesn’t mean your battery has enough "juice" to turn over the engine. I suggest you have a qualified technician test your starting and charging system. Since your vehicle won’t start, calling YourMechanic would be a great idea. Our technicians make house calls, which means you can avoid a tow bill.
