ok with no check engine light the main uses with these with that problem are the throttle body, you want clean it 100% and perform a battery reset. if that doesnt improve it you need a dealer level scanner to relearn the throttle body. in some cases it may need to be replaced. They can only be replaced with nissan/infinity brand parts. 1.Turn/push the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and remove the key from the vehicle. This lessens the chance of voltage spikes. 2.Disconnect the battery cables-negative cable first, then positive. 3.Connect the positive and negative battery cables together. (make sure the cables are disconnected from the battery and they do not come in contact with the battery terminals) 4.Turn/push the ignition switch to ON (II), and wait 10 minutes. 5.Turn/push the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and remove the key from the vehicle. 6.Reconnect the battery cables to the battery. Positive cable first, then negative.

How to should I clean TBIs there a certain area? Specific cleaner?
Automotive Expert
best way is with a tooth brush and carb cleaner or brake clean and then wipe clean with rag, you dont want any residue left in the body or on the plate

If I am pushing on gas pedal and it is intermittent could it be the TB sensor acting up. So should I just get a new one?If it was a MAF sensor or Accelerator position sensor would a code be thrown?
Automotive Expert
it could just be a sticky plate, news ones arnt cheap they are around 150$ so you may want to try that first, you also can have fuel issues as well, im just going by the typical issues f those vehicles

It maybe the fuel filter?
Automotive Expert
highly unlikely unless you have a bunch of trash in your fuel tank

I looked at TB and it does look dirty. I will clean it and hope that fixes issueIf that doesn't work what else would you recommend
Automotive Expert
it would be really nice if you had the TB relearned, you can also check fuel pressure as well to see where its at.

To relearn TB do you follow the steps you listed?
Automotive Expert
you need a scanner to relearn it

Okay
Automotive Expert
yes
