Q: Charging system failure.

Visit workshop light came on, car shut down completely after. Battey dies. Etc... Changed the alternator charged battery no issues... Drove for 2 weeks light came on went off.... No issue... Check battery per mechanic...battery good. 2 days later visit workshop light again. Next morning starts perfectly fine... Light comes on while driving... Stop at stsrbucks... Car does not start. Call wrecker .. I check battery voltage from the panel 11.9v alternator 9.9v. wrecker says bad alternator.... Was new alternator. Warranty on alternator mechanic changes alternator charged battery car starts fine. Light still on. Mechanic says battery not being charged. So new alternator and good battery supposedly. Not being charged. Assuming he has checked the grounds and wiring to the battery from the alternator.... Any ideas
